The story of Romeo & Julia tells about two lovers in Verona, Italy. But their love is an forbidden love, because they are part of two families who are born to hate and always fight eachother. Romeo is a Montague (blue) and always together with his friends Benvolio and Mercutio. Romeo loves Julia, who is a Capulet (red), a very agressive family. Her causin Tybalt is one of the Capulets who hates the Montagues the most.
Because their love is forbidden, Romeo and Julia marry in secret.
But then, in a duell, Tybalt kills Romeo’s friend Mercutio. Romeo, in his fury, kills Tybalt and he gets banished from Verona.
Julia has an idea to be with Romeo again. From father Lorenzo, she gets poison, that will make her in a very deep sleep, so everyone will think she’s dead, and then she can escape to her Romeo.
But Benvolio warns Romeo that Julia has died. Romeo returns to Verona, and in the tomb he finds Julia dead. Romeo kills himself, but when he dies, Julia wakes up from her fake death. She understands what happens, but she doesn’t want to live without him, and also Julia kills herself.
The two families find the bodies of Romeo and Julia, and they understand that the hate must be stopped.
Joao Paulo is one of the Capulets, so he's in red, and he's a ghost/ball-dancer. Then wears a white costume with punky hair.
