BiographyJoao Paulo de Almeida: Education: Joao Paulo de Almeida was born on the 12th of July in 1983 and started very early with acrobatics. He finished his studie on the Royal Academy of Dance in Bahia.   
Theater: Joao Paulo danced in classics as The Nut-cracker, La Fille Mal Gardee, Le Corsaire and Beauty and the Beast. He was a part of the Gilmar Sampaio Company. He made a acrobatic dance-act for Magic Life Entertainment and performed in Greece and Turky. He worked on the Tanzpool Coaching ‘05 (Vienna) and was a part of the Tumbao Dancers. He danced in Romeo & Julia (Vienna) and his first show in the Netherlands was Cats. He danced the roles of Pouncival, Tumblebrutus and Mr. Mistoffelees. After that, he was ensemble in the very succesfull musical Tarzan , and the next project was the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Also, Joao performed in the show Cirque Stiletto , an incredible show around the Dutch diva Ellen ten Damme. This show played in Carré Theatre in Amsterdam for a few weeks, an a year later this show also toured through the Netherlands. This year, Joao is again part of a very big musical production in the Netherlands: Miss Saigon . |
